Title: What is the electron-pair geometry and molecular geometry of nitrite ion (NO2-)?
Post by: Xeno Lunar on December 21, 2008, 01:22:44 PM
My guess:

electron-pair geometry - trigonal-planar
molecular geometry - bent

can anyone confirm whatever this is correct and if not give the correct answer? thax

It seems that, both are tirgonal-planar as it is said in wikipedia. ;)
