Title: assay on anydrous basis and assay on dried basis

Dear all.
I am looking for an answer to this question when we say that 99.1% assay on anhydous basis or 99.1% assay on dried basis.If anyone can help with the calculations also then it will be great.

The only difference that could be made between the statements is as follows:


xx.x% purity on anhydrous basis implies that only the water content has been taken into account.

xx.x% on a dried basis implies that the material will have had all possible liquid impurities (water, solvents, residual liquid chemicals) removed by the drying process.
