Title: multicomponent distillation
Post by: lullu on April 20, 2011, 05:10:26 AM
I have the compositions of the distillate and residue, how can I find the end temperatures, that is the distallate's and the residue's temperature?

Does the "end point" mean the final distillation temperature? If this a theoretical question, than I do not know. Likely there is a way how to estimate it with high accuracy. From the practical perspective. I would assume that the end point would be between the boiling points of the heaviest fraction in distillate and the lightest fraction in residue.
