Title: News: New Chat Room and Administrator
Post by: Mitch on May 21, 2004, 07:04:46 PM
We have a new chat room up and running, feel free to check it out. Although, I still can't log in. Geodome has been crucial in setting this up for us. Geodome is also an official administrator around the forums now, so everyone congratulate him when you see him around. I've also created a new page for the website called "Name Reactions" it'll house as many reactions as I can put in it. I'll try to add a new reaction per day. I've also made an "Essential Book" page, it'll basically be Chemical Forums approved reading material. Also, any books bought through the links help fund the site.

You got a link up to your reaction page? I'm curious to see what its all about, I didn't see any links to it from the main forum page.

It's not really meant for individuals to learn from per se. It's mostly a resource for organic chemistry veterans who need a quick refresher on a mechanism.

Mitch, I know why you cannot login into galaxynet already.

Some galaxynet server set a limit on the length of the user's name, ie. I used a overly lengthly value for the "name" parameter. I have updated the relevant files. This should eliminate any bad username error in future.
