Title: Concentration at the surface of a solution
Post by: jkipr on December 04, 2011, 05:48:28 AM

I am required to estimate the concentration at the surface of pentalysine with a 10^-4 M bulk concentration.
Is this information really sufficient to solve this question?I thought I would need the electrostatic potential and/ the charge density to calculate this

I read the word «estimate» in your question.

Is not enough to obtain a relationship between surface and bulk concentration and then solve for 10-4 M?
