Title: Having a terrible time identifying this IR spectrum

I know it is a carboxylic acid with a phenyl. The ar-oh should be an aromatic-OR.

It is very very difficult to identify a compound only from an IR spectrum. If the compound is known, then some spectrometers can attempt to match it with a spectral database. More information is needed unless someone happens to recognize this spectrum.

Well it is a carboxylic acid (solid)

Do you think it could be 4-hydroxybenzoic acid?

Yet, why not this:

Do you know a MW? Or elemental % composition?
