Title: Molecular Shape SOCl2
Post by: tomkoolen on January 13, 2013, 04:01:13 PM
Hello everyone,

I was wondering why the molecular shape of SOCl2 is a tetrahedron. The VSEPR model gives me the number 3, which would indicate a triangle plane. Could anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

We have the oxygen, the two chlorine and an orbital with two electrons.
