Title: Enthalpy content
Post by: ParaChase on March 04, 2013, 10:12:49 PM
Hey all,
Just wondering, how do you determine how to rank enthalpy content, given pressure?

To clarify, I'm asking, based on a known state of matter (solid, cholesteric crystal, plastic crystal, liquid), how does one rank the enthalpy content of any substance in one of those four states at 1 atm.
Sorry if this question is a bit confusing.
Is it: The denser it is, the higher enthalpy content it has? For ex. wood has a greater enthalpy content then nitrogen gas at 1atm.
Thanks
