Title: Removing DMSO residue from volumetric pipettes
Post by: redneck on May 18, 2015, 06:52:12 PM
Helllo,
Does anyone have a good way of removing DMSO residue from volumetric pipettes? I am currently using one of those automatic pipette washers with the continuous flow of DI water. However, I cannot seem to rid the bulb portion of the pipettes of DMSO. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Immerse it in KOH/isopropanole mixture for some hours.
