Title: Parent Acid And Parent Base Of A Salt
Post by: dagr8est on May 05, 2006, 05:49:10 PM
Okay I think I have this right but I need to have it confirmed.  The parent base of AlCl3 is Al(H20)5(OH)+2 and the parent acid is HCl.  Is that correct?

It looks like there might be more than one answer.  the simplist I can see would be Al(OH)3 and HCl.
