I am analyzing a recent IR spectroscopy from one of my lab experiments and I noticed that there is a broad, peak at around ~3300cm-1. I washed my purified sample with a few ml's of cold water and I am now wondering if I didn't dry it for long enough? Would excess water appear on an IR spectrum in the alcohol (O-H) wavenumber range?? The product is not supposed to contain any O-H groups.

Check the attached file of IR of water.
