Can someone please kindly know the possible way of formation of chloro gaba lactam impurity in the synthesis of GABAPENTIN ASAP

You should show your method of synthesis. My guess - you have gamapentin lactam and gamapentin hydrochloride mixture.

Yes I do have gabapentin lactam and gabapentin hydrochloride mixture, please let me know what would be the core reaction for formation of chloro gabalactam

Gabapentin lactam does not form hydrochloride.
