Title: What are the Products to this equation?

Could someone help me understand how to find the products of this reaction? 

EDTA Acid + Aqua Ammonia + Zinc Oxide + Water :rarrow: ?

C10H16N2O8 + NH5O + ZnO + H2O   :rarrow:

There are many different processes/reactions that can take place in such a mixture. Some will be relatively fast, some very slow. Some will depend on the concentrations of reactants used. There is no simple answer to this question, and even the complicated ones are not guaranteed to be correct in every particular case.

I would be using the right concentrations to end up with a Diammonium Zinc EDTA. This is a possible product correct?

Also, to make a diammonium EDTA, is that in theory just mixing EDTA and Ammonium Hydroxide?

Possible - yes. But intuition (which can be wrong) tells me to start with ZnCl2 or some other soluble salt.

Yes.
