Title: Pyrite oxidation homework problem

Determine the concentration of sulfate if 1g of pyrite oxidizes in 1L of water.

Here is my attempt at answering. Can someone let me know if i'm right please.

FeS2 + 7/2 H2O + 15/4 O2 = 2SO4 + Fe(OH)3 + 4H+

1000 mg/l pyrite = 8.33 mM (1000mg/l / 120g/mol)

1:2 ratio between FeS2 and SO4 8.33 mM*2 = 16.66mM sulfate produced

Looks OK, but please format your reaction equations correctly, with 2 and 2- where necessary.
