Title: Epimerisation of N-sulfinyl imine

I've got a N-sulfinyl tBu imine and am trying to epimerise the alpha centre. There is a cis-dioxolane at the moment but I'm after the trans. Anyone got any ideas?
I've tried DBU with some success but methoxide, NaHMDS seem to degrade the material

Maybe LDA?
