Title: I probably don´t understand something

Hi, im new here and im having some big troubles with salts.
 I have to make Ca(HCO3)2 . At first i make the calcium oxide, then i try to make the oxacid but when i make it i end up with CH2 O3 . After all this im not avle to end with the original compound
 What im making wrong?

In what form? Using what? On paper, or a real synthesis?

its an excercice so it is on paper, i should be more specific, i got that because i make all the steps to get an oxacid

You need to show more details, at the moment we have no idea what you are doing and how.
