Ive heard of engines that take H2Oand seperate the"H" and the "O" and burn it as a fuel.Why have these not caught on ???.

I'm sure someone else here knows a lot more about this than I do, but I think it's because it takes a LOT of energy to break the H2O into H2 and O2.
