silanols acidity

WHy silanols such as (CH3)3SiOH are stronger acids than ther carbon analogs ???

The simple answer is that the greater Pauling scale electronegativity of the Carbon atom holds onto the the proton on the hydroxyl group much tighter than in the analogous Silicon compound. Thus, the Silicon compound is a stronger acid and is more likely to b deprotonated.
