alkenes and alkanes QUESTIONS
« on: July 05, 2007, 09:59:07 AM »
1) Are the alkenes more reactive than the alkanes? Suggest a reason for your answer.

2) Why do you think alkenes produce a sootier flame than alkanes?

3) What are the products of complete combustion of alkanes?

4) Which test (two) could use to distinguish between alkanes and alkenes?

5) Write the equations for each tests.

Try to solve it...  ;)
