equation for limonene + Br2/CCl4

C10H16 + Br2/CCl4 -->

so i don't know what products would be formed...i know that the end product is colourless though.
what actually is Br2/CCl4...why does it have the slash in it???

You use CCl4 solution of bromine

In this problem it would be helpful if you knew the structure of limonene:

So, what type of reactions is Br2 involved in?  What type of functional groups does it react with?  What type of functional groups are present in limonene?

Bromine reacts with C-C double bonds (addition reaction).
