« on: November 26, 2007, 06:51:22 PM »
1.calculate the concentration of 20.00g NaCl in 1.00L solution as weight/volume percent. What is it expressed in Molarity?

2. A 0.20 M solution of NaCl has a volume of 200 mL. How many grams of NaCl are in the solution.

3. Which of the following solutions would likely boil at a temp. just over thank 100 degree celcuis?
a) pure water
b)NaCl
c)0.20 M NaCl
d) 2% manganese steel

4.what is the osmotic pressure of 200 Ml of 0.015 M NaCl?

I really these questions are not that hard but ive worked all of them and got the wrong answer from what a friend got. any help ??

3) Google 'boiling point elevation'
4) There is an eqn for Osmotic Pressure which should be in your text.

For 1) and 2) - post your working so we can tell you where/if you went wrong.
