I see what you are saying, but, it is quite moving really  -  cats are very intellegent and social animals.  You can tell the lion is REALLY pleased to see them - I love the way it nuzzels into them like a domestic does when it loves arround its owners.   Thanks for that!

I was a fan of the twisted TV show on MTV, The Wildboyz .  Basically, it's the guys from the show and movie Jackass, traveling the world and performing stupidly dangerous stunts with (at least semi-)wild animals.  Once they were taunting a lion, basically sitting in a hammock with raw meat on strings attached, and they fell out.  The lion did a curious half-leap sideways, with a mini-rearing on it's hind legs, and I said, "Where've I seen that before, oh, that's right, that's how my cat pounced."  It was never more obvious how close Steve-O came to being wild animal chow than that striking parallel between Great Cat and kitty cat.

Hmmm... Isn't the happy ending supposed to be when after being raised by humans in a domestic environment, a lion is released into the wild?  This is quite unusual...

Another note of irony is that Anton LaVey had a pet lion... This is strange considering the lion in this video is named Christian.
