SnF2(213C) SnCl2(247C) SnBr2(232C) SnI2(320C)
is there any reason why SnBr2 doesn't have a higher melting point to follow the trend or is it just an exception to the rule?
-thanks-

What properties influence melting point? Lattice energy?
What do you know about the isotope percentages of Br?
