How to find the rate determining step?

For any reaction mechanism, how do you find the rate determining step? Is there a pattern to look for and a specific feature to identify to find the slowest step of reaction?

I was trying to find the slowest reaction, but I don't think molecularity would help...

hey,

you could look at the rate law or the activation energy of each step to determine the rate determing step(slowest step).
No matters what results are waiting for us, it's nothing but the DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!
