I am looking at a few synthesis of epoxides via Sharpless ae. However, I do not understand what ee means. Underneath all of the products, there is a percent ee.
Here is a sentence that uses ee: "The ee of unreacted alcohol is essentially 100% at 60% conversion".
Can you please explain what ee means?
