K, u guys helped me so well with my last poat that I need help with this one here.  I don't have a clue where to start.  I seen my instructor work it on the board and understood it then but now it seems to be lost.     A solution to replace potassium loss contains 40 mEq/L of K+ and Cl- How many moles each of K+ and cl- are in 1.5 L of the solution??

Conversion guide

For monovalent ions, 1 equivalent = 1 mole

For divalent ions, 1 Eq = 0.5 mol

For trivalent ions, 1 Eq = 0.333 mol

so for every 1 Eq, there is 1 mole. now that its simple, we convert the given data into moles. then multiply by 1.5 to get the value for 1.5 L
