How Much CPS needed to Reduce Cr (VI) to Cr (III)?

This is a real, in-the-field question.  Calcium polysulfate (CPS) reduces Cr(VI) to Cr(III) in groundwater. 
If I have an assumed flow of 30 gallons per minute of groundwater that has an assumed steady Cr(VI) concentration of 1149 micrograms/liter,  how much CPS (in volume per minute) do I need to add to treat the groundwater if 39 milliliters of CPS is needed to treat 1 gram of Cr(VI))?
I came up with 5.12 ml/min, but it just  doesn't look right.
