Chromatin immunoprecipitation
« on: December 25, 2009, 11:16:50 AM »
In this metod, chromatin immunoprecipitation, we treat cells with formaldehyde, and because of that proteins connect to DNA. I woud like to know why that happens. I know that formaldehyde denaturates proteins, but why are they going to connect with DNA?
