Hydrocarbon Combustion Mixture
« on: January 23, 2010, 07:40:08 PM »
A hydrocarbon mixture consists of 60.0% by mass of C3H8 and 40.0% of CxHy. When 10.0g of this mixture is burned, 29.0 g CO2 and 18.8g H2O are the only products. What is the empirical formula for CxHy?
