SN2 Reaction
« on: May 26, 2010, 11:07:06 AM »
Hi, could someone help me with a chemistry question? I have 2-bromobutane reacting with aqueous acetone. I think it's an SN2 reaction. What are the structures of the reaction products?

Thank you!! :D

Knowing why you got a question wrong is better than knowing that you got a question right.

Also, I'm not sure about this:
how do I know which functional groups predominate at pH7.4 & pH1.5??

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this, I've been trying to study this for a week now!!
