Oppenauer/Wolff-Kishner
« on: September 26, 2010, 02:07:15 PM »
Hey,

have to complete following synthesis but I'm not that into organic:

Given was: The first molecule, Al(OiPr)3 Aluminiumtriisopropylate and Acetone, KOH and N2H4

I guess the first reaction is an Oppenauer Oxidation and the second is a Wolff-Kishner Reduction, but I really don't now whether I determined the products right or wrong.
So, I'd appreciate any help.

/edit: sketched it wrong, will edit it as soon as possible

corrected the molecules, everything else stays as it was.
