Is the metal silver or chromium?
If it is silver, is it using hydrazine sulfate and silver nitrate reaction or is it like the Tollen's test or one of the other tests that involve silver nitrate?

Looks nice. There is some company that makes such spray paint in a can and they claim that it is not like the others. Good quality and shiny as if it has been electroplated.

I've tried the spray can's which claim to do chrome but it doesn't do it justice compared to the type of spraying system that nicamarvin is using. Spray can's are usually a big waste of time effort and money since the top's of them leak its hard to get a consistent spray which doesn't drip.

But really awesome job nicamarvin looks like you had it sprayed professionally keep up the great work.

its real silver and the reducer used is a diluted form of formaline(Hydrazine also works, is used by Alsa own Spray on chrome system)

since I dont have cany paint dies, I use a few drops of color in the clear to give it a colored chrome look, so far this are the only colors I can produce, I have tried others but they just dont work at all..

Hi ! I found that it's not easy at all to finish spray on chrome. There're a lot of process to do. Well, I have problem about being yellow and last process so I have two questions to ask. First, how to avoid being yellow and What kind of lacquer do you use for the last process? Thanks  ;D

its always going to be yellow, that´s really not an issue, the last clear coat(Lacquer) needs to be tinted with violet color(mix of blue and magenta) to give it a chrome look, remember how yellow is the oposite of vilote? they will cancel each other out

you will see how the lines looked, in this pic I was using untinted clear that´s why it looks yellow instead of chrome, the tinted clear goes after.

the line you see is a pole not a white line, you can see how the violet tinted clear can turn this thing into a chrome look a like

PS am not really sure if i must use english to post but let me know
