yes it is the same number, in different significant numbers (that is why the notation usually is done in powers of 10, aside from the number being smaller to write).

I do not want to confuse you with those significant numbers, so forget about them for now

Haha! I am very easily confused, so it's probably best to just leave it at this for now and hope that I never encounter these significant numbers before the end of the course.

Thank you again, everyone!! :) I hope you won't bang your heads off the wall if I come back with more questions as I work my way through the lessons. I can't afford a tutor and I can't find anywhere local to go for free help. I'm very glad to have stumbled upon this place!
