Converting microgram liter to microliter (ug/L to uL)
« on: May 16, 2011, 09:48:11 PM »
Hi, I have a simple question,

I have a concentration of 44 ug/L of a product called PASS-10 that is injected in a watertreatment,
I would like to know what amount of PASS I need to take of this product for a jar test ?

I'm not sure if I have to devised 44 ug/L by the density of this product to give me the amount in uL,
Is someone can confirm the above or correct me if I'm wrong ?

Tks.

Hi.
I dont know what a jar test is and you dont really say what amount (units?) you need specifically, so I'll just point that: If the concentration is 44 micrograms per litre, then you have 44 micrograms in one litre. So you've got 4.4 microliters in 100 mls, 2.2ug in 50 mls and so on - which you know I assume. You'd only use density if you had to measure it out by mass. Maybe I could help if you extrapolate a bit?
