how to separate tellurium dioxide from silicon dioxide?
« on: October 03, 2011, 11:32:53 PM »
Both TeO2 and SiO2 are water insoluble, so they cannot be separated by using water. Is there any other methods that can be used to separate tellurium dioxide from silicon dioxide?

I think TeO2 should be soluble in konz. sulfuric acid. The SiO2 is still unsoluble.
