Redox Titration
« on: October 14, 2005, 12:35:38 AM »
Hi, I need help on this question,

A sample of a new cleaning product, "Joe's Famous Bleach Cleaner," with a volume of 4.10 mL is diluted to 200 mL with an acetic acid solution containing excess iodine.  A small amount of starch indicator solution is added, turning the solution a deep bluish-purple. The solution is then titrated with a solution of sodium thiosulfate, Na_2S_2O_3, having a concentration of 0.103 M. If a titrant volume of 44.6 mL is needed for the titration reaction to become colorless, what is the percent concentration of NaClO in the bleach?
