Suzuki Cross Coupling NMR HELP
« on: December 09, 2011, 05:01:43 PM »
Hey, i have to find out what my product is in suzuki cross coupling lab.  We were given an unknown aryl halide and aryl boronic acid. My lab  didnt go to well and for some reason my product never melted even at  high temperatures. The TA gave us an NMR to use to find out what our  unknown is. Can someone help me find out what my 2 unknowns are through  nmr?

What are these spectra of? The starting materials or the product?

Integrals would help if you have them.
My research: Google Scholar and Researchgate

How much of the structure can you draw with just the information you were given? (Suzuki coupling reaction with aryl halide and aryl boronic acid)?

Do you know what the molecular weight of your product was?

Were there any limitations on the possible structures of the aryl halide or aryl bromide, or could they have been any imaginable structure?
