« on: October 23, 2005, 06:22:03 PM »
Hello

I've tried to attempt to balance this equation:
 C6H8O7 + 3NaOH --> NaC6H5O7 + 3H2O

I dont know how this can be done can anyone help?

This NaC6H5O7 should be Na3C6H5O7
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.

Sorry, just one more question, can this also be written as C6H5O7Na3?
