Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!

So if, I¨m getting it right, with usage of base (ammonia) it will polymerate into this compound?

You may need a stronger base than ammonia, methoxide at a guess.
Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!
