Non Phtlhalates, DEHP
« on: June 11, 2012, 01:56:27 AM »
Hello,

I am wondering if there is any or much difference in the optimal storage conditions for highly plasticized non phthalate pvc compounds/materials.

I have recently read a Danish study, but it only concerned DEHP and also Eastman something or other.  Both contained now considered unacceptable levels of phthalates for certain applications.

My basic question, is this.....do all or any NON phthalate compounds behave in similar manners as their old phlthalate counterparts?

DEHP broke down in a similar manner, regardless of the concentration  (as far as storage is concerned).

Could you please get back to me on this.  I am not asking for 100% proof positive, just a bit of info. on likelihood that optimal storage conditions for NON compounds are the same.

 Thank you
