Melting point of dibromocholesterol?
« on: December 02, 2005, 08:30:39 PM »
Hello!

I have a question for everyone.  It's not a big question, just a little question that I have been unable to find the answer of yet.

The bromination reaction of cholesterol yields the product dibromocholesterol.  Does anyone know what the literature value for the melting point of this chemical is?  Cuz the online MSDS resource doesn't seem to list it.

Thanks very much!
