Converting from yd^3 to cubic centimeters
« on: September 24, 2012, 09:17:21 AM »

The question in my book is "How many cubic centimeters are there in 2.11 yd^3?"

3.23 x 10^3 kg is the answer, but how do I get to it? I don't know which conversion factors to use.

Do you know the number of centimeters in a yard? If you can calculate the number of cubic centimeters in a cubic yard, then you can multiply that by 2.11 to get the number of cubic centimeters in 2.11 cubic yards.
