« on: September 26, 2012, 11:31:18 AM »
Hi All,

Do all the living things in nature and non living things which exist are solely made up of 109 chemical elements available .

What chemical elements are present in living organisms (eg: Humans,Animals)

What are present in fruits and vegetables.

Please clarify me.

I got to know that sugar and fats are organic compounds and I also read that organic matter is made up of living things. Does it mean that sugar and fats have life in it??

Please clarify me.

No. Living things are made up of organic matter. That is quite different from saying that organic matter is made up of living things. You might as well say, with the Dormouse, that "I breathe when I sleep" is the same thing as "I sleep when I breathe".
Wohler's 1828 synthesis of urea from inorganic materials demonstrated that there is no essential connection between organic chemicals and living things.
