Help with Linearisation
« on: October 31, 2012, 11:23:00 AM »
Hi,

I am trying to determine T1 (NMR longitudinal relaxation time) from a linear graph based on the following equation (which I need help linearising):

I(t) = I(inf) [1-2exp(-tau/T1)]

I need to rearrange the equation to have allow T1 to be determined from the gradient.

Cheers,
Mike

I guess you mean

[tex]I(t) = I_{\inf}(1-\exp(-\frac {\tau} {T_1}))[/tex]

Have you tried simply to solve for T1?
