Oh yes, I have a question to ask. Does iodine sublime while in NaKSO₄ water solution? I know it sublimes into gas when pure, just like dry ice, but does it sublime in solution?

Also, how come the iodine solution was transparent? I first thought that the experiment had failed but when I dipped the universal indicator in and the paper became brown, not any other colour.

Before the iodine can sublime, your solution will boil.

Sublimation is a phase transition between solid and gas. Where is the solid?

There is no solid. THere is just clear water. But how come when I put the universal indicator in it turned brown? Oh yes, I just tried with normal paper and the paper was not brown at all. Strange... I wander what is the problem with all my experiments!
