Order of elution
« on: November 30, 2012, 02:54:59 AM »
I have used c18 column with my sample containing diphenhydramine HCl, acetaminophen(aka paracetamol) and phenylephrine HCl using polar solvent as my mobile phase. What would be the order of elution of my given components via HPLC. Thanks for the help.

If you have a polar solvent, a C18 hydrocarbon bonded to your stationary phase, and if like dissolves like, then which compound should have the greatest interaction with the hydrocarbon?
