Coordinate Complexes question
« on: December 10, 2012, 02:30:58 PM »
Mn, Fe, and Co in the +2 and +3 oxidation states all form octahedral complexes with H2O ligands. Among the +3 complexes, electrochemistry experimental measurements indicate that the Fe+3 complex is the most difficult to reduce by one electron. Briefly explain this result.
