By the rules of the forum, you must show your attempt at a problem, before anyone will help you.

Well, what does the electronegativity table say?

well, for a) the answer would be CH3-Cl, because the Cl-Cl molecule would have equal polarity in both directions. and for b) i believe CH3-OH would be the answer because oxygen is a strong electron withdrawing atom, making the OH end have a greater negative charge.

The arrows should be pointed at the direction of the elements that are more electronegative.

Thanks, so would it be correct since C3C is more electronegative than Cl, HO is more electronegative than CH3 and (H3C)3Si is more electronegative than CH3 right? Also for Cl--Cl did I do the arrows correct?

No

Yes

No.

You are suggesting that electronegativity of Si>C>Cl, which is incorrect. Google electronegativity and check the values.
