4 found using this paper, which details the synthesis of [BMIM]FeCl

3, presumably resulting in the formation of [EMIM]FeCl
3Br. On a whim, I added an excess of NaCl to the solution to push the reaction from [EMIM]FeCl
3Br to [EMIM]FeCl
4 via what I presume is a ligand substitution mechanism. Is my reasoning here correct?
