MIC's
« on: April 23, 2014, 03:22:39 PM »
Does anyone know if there is there a particular reason (other than inertia) why biologists seem to favor using mg/mL vs molar when they talk about MIC's and other assays?  As a chemist molar is more exact and informative since the drugs can vary in size greatly.  Mg/mL's only advantage seems to be ease since it requires less calculation.
When in doubt, avoid the Stille coupling.

Sadly, chances are you are right. Simplicity often wins over reason.
